Last Update: October 18, 2003 -   Note that the 27,792 total figure includes all CJ-8s made in the United States and sold overseas.  The ones on this page were built overseas on an exported license.  I'm told this occurred through 1990.  Until I can figure out some way of capturing the production numbers, I'll keep these out of the 27,792 number for now.
